Himura Akio
Born Leader - Diplomatic, thoughtful, and direct.
Aged 20, Akio presents as a tall, muscular youkai with medium-length golden-white hair. Akio has golden-white fox ears and scarlet red eyes. His foxlike features resemble the corsac fox, so he has a long golden-white tail. Akio is a trained swordsman and is a descendant of a well-respected clan. Because of his latent ability, his armor is simply a helmet and cuirass. Akio is significantly stronger than humans but is not invulnerable to other youkai. While in the human realm, Akio passes as a human when cloaked, which he utilizes as an assassin. He does this by wrapping his tail around his waist, covering his ears, and wearing a mask to hide his face.

Fujiwara Chinami
Sassy Sophisticate - Charming, witty, and confident.
Aged 22, Chinami presents as a tan-skinned, voluptuous youkai with long silvery-grey hair, white fox ears, and heterochromatic aqua blue and amber-gold eyes. Chinami is the heiress to the Fujiwara clan and is her academy's highest-performing graduate. Chinami portrays herself as a reserved, elusive female with a long history of turning down the advances of interested males. To her chagrin, her unavailability only fuels them to work harder to win her over.
Himura Kasumi
Peak Nobility - Elegant, astute, and poised.
Aged 40, Kasumi presents as a kitsune with scarlet red eyes. She has long, flowing golden hair, small golden fox ears, and a long golden tail resembling the corsac fox. A widow of over a decade, Kasumi is an envoy between the human and youkai realms. Her duties include meeting in the nearby human villages with the most affluent humans and governing officials and managing the contracts assigned for Akio to complete.
Itou Souta
Loving Strength - Nurturing, kind, and involved.
Aged 45, Souta is a physically fit kitsune with short brown hair. He has green eyes, brown fox ears, and a long brown tail resembling the corsac fox. Souta is both Kasumi's elder brother and the father figure in Akio's life. He is also the chair of the Itou clan's Council of Elders and is a socially conscious government leader. A consummate weapons expert, Souta is Akio's predecessor as an assassin and has trained him to use his katana in the Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto-ryu technique.
